Team Member Academics
We are responsible for every (international) student joining the Impulse Summit. By handling the application and selection process and developing further academic projects we embed academia into the Impulse Summit. Researching potential partner universities and maintaining the current ones are important tasks in our daily business. Expanding our network at HSG and other universities is hereby crucial for success. Lastly, we help the students prepare for and take care of them during the Impulse Summit week.
Requirements
- Excitement about working with other international students
- Motivation for the acquisition of partner universities and determination to go beyond just writing emails
- Some experience in professional business communication
- Talent for building relationships that contribute to the long-term success of the initiative
- Ability to work in a team and independently
- Other languages are an advantage
- Experience with CRM-Tools is a plus
Head of Academics
As Head of Academics you have an overview of every student coming to the conference. You know their role, background, and contribution to the conference. You are the main contact for outside universities and HSG handling and maintaining the contracts and relationships. You oversee the student application process and design their journey to and during the Summit. You set-up all necessary administrative documents like excel sheets, Hubspot dashboards, and presentation templates. The Head of Academics is always available to the team for questions and gives tasks to his team members. Within the Core Team, he/she makes strategic decisions for the conference and the initiative.
Requirements:
- Ability to lead people and the proper handling of responsibilities
- Experience in professional business communication through internships or work
- Ability to work alone and freely and make responsible decisions
- The confidence for a joint leadership of a student team and initiative
- The ability to work thoroughly and with great accuracy
- Talent for building relationships that contribute to the long-term success of the initiative
- Experience with Excel, PPT, and CRM systems like Hubspot
- General knowledge of the university system, especially in the European area
