Building trust for the future of society.
While the concept of stakeholder theory has been around for almost 70 years, achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals is only possible through the collaboration of the public and private sectors. In an industry that primarily fails to address the issue, new concepts of a circular economy are needed.
On our platform, we aim to create unique and valuable insights into societal issues. We kicked off our platform by establishing a partnership with the collective think tank by Wasserman, a global consortium of today’s greatest academic minds and industry leaders working together on insights that drive actions to create a world of parity. Further, we are working on our own project in collaboration with an expert round from adidas.
Partners
Our general approach for projects on these platforms is to onboard a team of dedicated students that complete either a workshop or longer-term industry project with a partner on a question relevant to the industry. This practical approach created profound and deep insights combining academic knowledge and practical challenges. We would like to thank our partners for the insightful current and past collaborations.

Impulse Summit 2023
The 2023 Impulse Summit took an in-depth look at the connection between society, social responsibility and the world of sport. One notable theme, ‘Organizing a Sustainable Global Event’, explored the potential of sporting events as catalysts for positive change. Amidst the celebration of local cultures, concerns were also raised about corruption and environmental impact. Moderated by the BBC’s Rob Bonnet, speakers from UEFA Women’s Euro 2025, the Football Foundation for Africa and TEAM Marketing discussed strategies to maintain the transformative power of sport while addressing environmental and community engagement issues.
Another exciting session, “Sustainable Venues”, questioned the social and environmental role of sports venues. Using examples such as the Climate Pledge Arena, which demonstrates sustainability, speakers emphasized the need for environmentally friendly strategies and multi-purpose designs.
In addition, discussions were held in the field of eSports, discussing their potential for social learning and inclusivity. From exploring athletes’ responsibilities off the field to integrating sport into education, the summit highlighted the complex web of sport, society and ethics and left participants pondering the future of sport in shaping a better world.
