Dear Sports Business Enthusiast
The Sports Business Club at the University of St. Gallen offers a non-profit platform to facilitate practice-oriented, interdisciplinary, international, and intergenerational exchange within the sports ecosystem. We challenge the status quo of the industry and aim at catalyzing sustainable shifts. Convinced by gathering various points of view and background to solve challenges the industry we carry faces, we foster the dialogue.
Next to smaller formats throughout the year, we concentrate our efforts on the Impulse Summit and want you to join us on this journey. Since 2018, leading experts from within and around the industry have engaged in discussions with international, highly educated, and passionate young talents, also known as the Global Talents. We seek every participant to gather Impulses, think beyond the ordinary, and develop solutions through our formats.
After this year’s return to the physical Summit, we’re celebrating our 5-year jubilee on October 27 & 28, 2022, and want you to shape the experience.
Grab the opportunity to evolve within a young uprising student initiative and join our team! All positions are currently open! The team is structured in three departments: event, marketing, network, led by Leon and Nele.
The Event team organizes the Impulse Summit and other campus events and ensures a unique conference experience for all attending participants during a varied and exciting Impulse Week. This includes workshops with partners such as Fifa, planning the Global Talents Journey as well as creating a presence at the university and many other exciting projects.
The Marketing team develops and publishes our initiative’s branding, design, and wording, including external and internal communication. This includes creating publications, social media content, websites, various campaigns, video shoots and many more.
The Network team ensures a high-quality field of experts at our flagship event, covering various opinions, backgrounds and knowledge. It also supports our Global Talents along their paths, develops our fellowship program and our academic vision.
Proper completion of the form by December 15th is necessary for participation in the subsequent selection procedure. By applying, you certify that your commitment extends to the end of November 2022. Also, please book the evening of January 13th. The hourly commitment amounts to about 10 hours per week on average, which is strongly dependent on the phases of the Impulse Summit preparation.
Following your application, we will contact you by email to inform you of the next steps. Depending on your department preferences, we might ask you to prepare minor cases for the interviews. Given the current circumstances, the latest can be held online. We thank you for your interest and are looking forward to meeting you soon.
